A historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed today between Om Samaj Dental Hospital and Shree Universal Delight and Memorial Foundation Nepal (UDMF-Nepal), which is active in social service, embracing the basic mantra of “No one should be deprived of education or health services because of money”. The MoU was signed by Sabina Papan Gurung, Head of Banasthali Branch, on behalf of the hospital, while Aryal signed on behalf of UDMF.
The main goal of this MoU is to provide access to education and health to helpless, destitute, orphaned and talented children.
Introduction to UDMF-Nepal
Registered with the Companies Registrar’s Office in 2019 (Chait 5, 2075), UDMF-Nepal is a non-profit social organization currently operating from Jhonchhe, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-23.
The organization initially started its education campaign with just 4 children, and has so far provided free tuition and schooling support to more than 200 children.
Currently, 94 children are attending tuition classes daily from 7:00-9:00 in the morning and 4:00-6:00 in the evening.

The branch chief of Om Samaj Dental Hospital, Gurung, expressed his social commitment.
Om Samaj Dental Hospital, which has been continuously conducting free dental camps, health checkups and public awareness programs since 2075 BS, has so far provided direct services to more than 200 people.
Stating that it has been working with the core vision of “From the street to the house, from the country to the foreign countries — a hospital that treats everyone,” Banasthali Branch Chief Hospital has been providing dedicated service to the underprivileged.
The presence of Nepal ASA Association (France) was notable at the program. This organization has welcomed the collaboration in education and health as a symbol of international cooperation.

Omar Hamou had said, “In 2016, my grandfather came to Nepal and had his teeth treated at Om Samaj Dental Hospital. Our family’s gratitude towards this hospital still remains.”
Shared commitment and future plans
President Laxman Aryal said at the program, “Now we will move forward with one thought, one path and a common goal.”
Similarly, Gurung, the head of Om Samaj Dental Hospital Banasthali branch, said, “We are also ready to reach every corner of Nepal in such social work. Our thinking and your mission are in harmony.”
The bright journey of education and health has now begun together — which is not just a paper agreement of cooperation, but a shared commitment to social transformation.
